DIGITAL HEALTHCARE PLATFORM
CliniQ
A patient-facing digital health app for booking, messaging a provider, and managing care between visits.
Patients had no easy way to reach their care team between appointments, so small questions turned into missed follow-ups or unnecessary in-person visits.
THE APPROACH
We started from patient research, not a feature list — the design prioritized the two moments that mattered most: booking and messaging a provider quickly.
A mobile-first patient app with booking, secure provider messaging, and a care-plan tracker, backed by a lightweight provider-facing web console.
Appointment Booking
Real-time provider availability, not a request-and-wait-for-confirmation flow.
Secure Messaging
Direct, HIPAA-aware messaging between patient and care team.
Care Plan Tracker
A patient-visible checklist of what’s next in their care plan, not just a PDF handed over at discharge.
Provider Console
A lightweight web view for care teams to manage messages and bookings without a full EHR login.
Not applicable — CliniQ is a design/product-engineering showcase without an AI layer, included deliberately to show the service system doesn’t force AI into every project.
